Networkfleet Gives Back to San Diego County
At Networkfleet we are not only committed to providing the highest quality fleet management solutions, we are also dedicated to giving back to our community. Networkfleet employees have volunteered many hours to support local San Diego organizations and programs such as:
 We have teamed up with I Love a Clean San Diego to adopt a beach near our corporate headquarters in La Jolla, CA. For 2008 and 2009, Networkfleet has  adopted the Marine Street beach. The Adopt-a-Beach program is about Californians acting together to create lasting solutions to marine pollution. As part of this program, Networkfleet is required to participate in 3 beach cleanups per year at our “adopted” beach. This program gives us an opportunity to protect the environment and beautify our California coastline at the same time. We are all looking forward to our 2009 cleanup initiatives taking place in May, July, and September!
 In 2008, we began our work with San Diego’s Habitat for Humanity (SDHFH). By building houses together in partnership with families in need, SDHFH seeks to eliminate poverty housing and substandard living conditions in San Diego County. Last July, fifteen Networkfleet volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help build, paint, and assemble houses in Oceanside, CA. After a long day of hard work, we left the build site proud of our contributions, and eager to take on our next volunteer opportunity with SDHFH. In 2009, we will take part in two additional Habitat builds at the new Libby Lake community in North San Diego County.
It’s a tradition at Networkfleet to participate in the annual Toys for Tots holiday gift drive. The primary goal of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to send a message of hope to needy children while motivating them to grow into responsible and patriotic citizens of our community. Each holiday season we encourage our employees to make a donation to this great cause!
Throughout the year, Networkfleet will also participate in a variety of walk/runs to support local charities and organizations including the San Diego Race for Autism and the Silver Strand Half Marathon and 5K to support victims of spinal cord injuries.
