Networkfleet's History
Early Beginnings
Networkfleet was founded in 1999 as a start-up company under the name Networkcar. The organization combines remote diagnostics and GPS vehicle tracking to provide advanced telematics solutions for commercial and government fleets.
Patented Technology
In its first 10 years of business the organization celebrated more than 50 issued and pending patents surrounding remote vehicle diagnostics.
Fleet Telematics
The Networkfleet™ product received a 2004 and 2005 "Top Commercial Vehicle Solution" award from Telematics Update Magazine. Networkfleet helps fleet operators more effectively manage maintenance, assess vehicle performance and operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Fleet managers can remotely access detailed vehicle diagnostic information such as idle time, mileage, trouble codes, speed and mpg. Customer dispatching and operations can be improved by using GPS location information to track and route vehicles online. Networkfleet differentiates itself from other products in that it notifies managers if a vehicle reports a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) or is due for normal maintenance.
