California Bureau of Automotive Repair

The mission of the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) is to protect and serve consumers while ensuring a fair and competitive marketplace and implementing a model motor vehicle emissions reduction program. The organization protects and serves consumers by making available information that educates them about their rights and responsibilities. BAR helps ensure a competent and fair marketplace by establishing minimum standards of competency. They also work to reduce motor vehicle emissions through California's Smog Check Program.

Since 2004, BAR has administered the California Continuous Testing Program in partnership with Networkfleet. As a result of Networkfleet’s patented technology, vehicles with our devices are wirelessly tested for gross emissions every two hours. As a result, fleets with our devices are exempt from California’s biennial smog checks. This unique partnership allows our customers to reduce their fleet emissions footprint as well as benefit the bottom line through fuel and time savings.

South Coast Air Quality Management District

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) believes all residents have a right to live and work in an environment of clean air and is committed to undertaking all necessary steps to protect public health from air pollution, with sensitivity to the impacts of its actions on the community and businesses.

Networkfleet, the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee, and the South Coast AQMD have teamed to offer unique solutions to the municipalities in the South Coast region. AB 2766 discretionary funds are being used to help municipal fleets reduce their emissions footprint through the use of advanced telematics devices.

State of Nevada

Nevada’s Department of Motor Vehicles mission is to provide progressive and responsive service delivery to its citizens. The organization maintains the highest controls to ensure the accurate collection and timely distribution of all revenues. The State of Nevada improves the safety of those driving on its highways through licensing, monitoring and intervention practices. Assisting Nevada in meeting its federally mandated air quality standards, State of Nevada protects consumers and businesses against fraud and unfair business practices and ensures the integrity and privacy of its records.

Together, Networkfleet and the State of Nevada are working on bringing continuous testing to the fleets of Nevada. Continuous testing with Networkfleet offers substantial benefits to the state’s air by continuously testing the vehicle emissions health. At the same time, Networkfleet’s fleet management solution of vehicle location and diagnostics services helps fleets cut costs, increase revenues, and reduce emissions. This partnership was forged as a result of forward-thinking, and a willingness of industry and government to work together to solve complex environmental problems.
