Networkfleet’s award winning, fleet grade hardware is designed by highly specialized engineers with decades of automotive industry experience. This highly recognized experience within the automotive arena and best in class hardware design, allows Networkfleet to remain the leading influential force within the fleet management technology industry.

Design & Experience
- Networkfleet relies on automotive grade hardware instead of the consumer electronics hardware that most fleet management products use. The use of consumer electronics hardware sacrifices long term reliability and increases the risk for product failure.
- Only top quality, automotive grade components are used in Networkfleet products – like metal frames, durable low pressure molding, sealed fakra connectors, and extended temperature electronics.
- Internal electronics of Networkfleet products are hermetically sealed and conformally coated to protect against moisture intrusion.
- Products are designed with internal and external over-voltage protection to safeguard both the unit and your vehicle from damage.
- Networkfleet heavily invests in best practice automotive design and failure analysis processes which results in superior products, increased safety, and hardware longevity.
Manufacturing
- Networkfleet’s manufacturing partner is U.S.-based,
Morey Corporation.
- Morey was selected because they specialize in innovative,
ruggedized, automotive grade hardware – that is designed to last at least 10 years.
- Extensive manufacturing testing and quality control measures ensure Networkfleet delivers world class fleet management technology.

Firmware
The Networkfleet 3500 offers the powerful combination of GPS tracking and patented remote diagnostics. Your dispatchers will know where a vehicle is while your mechanics monitor when the vehicle will need service. The device also includes:
- Fleet data is protected by proprietary encryption and secure
data transfer capabilities – this ensures that your vehicle data is never compromised.
- A robust process is followed for writing and validating firmware
code to guarantee firmware is defect-free in all releases.
- Hardware is designed with extra memory to accommodate future firmware updates; with over-the-air updates released quarterly.
Testing & Validation Processes
- In an effort to prevent potential problems and pin-point design failures, Networkfleet relies on the Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) process during the development phase.
- HALT requires all hardware equipment to be exposed to extreme temperatures, vibrations, and other stress mechanisms during the testing process, allowing Networkfleet to produce reliable hardware that can withstand harsh environmental conditions.
- All materials used by Networkfleet have been designed, certified, and tested to adhere with Underwriters Laboratories’ (UL) auto extinguishing characteristics – meaning all units are non- flammable and will self extinguish if exposed to fire.
